The Wahl 5 Star Vapor Switch Cordless Clipper is a professional barbering clipper designed for precision cutting, fading, blending and bulk removal, with adjustable power to suit different techniques.

At the heart of the Vapor Switch is the HyperShift™ brushless motor, offering two dedicated cutting speeds. The 7,000 RPM setting is suited to detailed precision work and controlled cutting, while the 9,000 RPM setting provides additional power for bulk removal and denser hair. Adaptive Speed Control™ responds to changes in hair texture and density, helping maintain consistent blade speed for smoother blending and fewer repeated passes.

Weighing just 288 g, the cordless clipper is designed for comfortable handling throughout the day. Its innovative taper lever can be switched between a traditional five-click adjustment and unrestricted free-motion movement, allowing you to choose the level of control that best suits your cutting technique. The changeover requires no tools.

The Vapor Switch is fitted with a high-performance F32 Drift™ blade, featuring black PVD chrome and DLC coating. The blade is designed to reduce friction and heat during cutting, while its integrated oil reservoir helps maintain smooth blade movement and consistent performance.
